Minimal Oil Price Cut Set April 8

Manila: Oil firms will implement a minimal price rollback on petroleum products starting Tuesday. According to Philippines News Agency, in separate advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Petro Gazz, PTT, Seaoil, and Shell announced they will cut gasoline prices by 10 centavos per liter. Additionally, Caltex, Seaoil, and Shell will also slash kerosene prices by 50 centavos per liter. There will be no price adjustment for diesel prices this week. Quezon City: Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jonvic Remulla announced that Russian vlogger Vitaly Zdorovetskiy will remain in the Philippines to face criminal charges related to harassing and insulting Filipinos for his online content. Remulla emphasized that Zdorovetskiy will not be deported until a Philippine court delivers a final verdict on the cases against him. Western Visayas: The Department of Social Welfare and Development in Western Visayas (DSWD-6) on Monday said 133,221 indigent senior citizens in the region received a total of PHP399.663 million in social pensions for the first quarter of 2025.
