Environmental Group Criticizes Use of Single-Use Plastics in Fiesta Decorations

Manila: The use of disposable plastic banderitas (flaglets) during the Feast of Sto. Ni±o has been condemned by an environmental group for being inconsistent with both local and global efforts to combat plastic pollution. No Threats Identified for Local Candidates in Negros Occidental

Negros Occidental: There is no threat so far against 737 local candidates who underwent assessment by the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) in connection with the May 12 elections.
