MANILA – The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) on Monday said the Presidential Agrarian Reform Council (PARC) has approved the PHP19 billion funds to boost countryside development initiatives. MANILA – Retired Supreme Court (SC) associate justice Dante Tiñga on Monday filed a petition asking the high court to nullify a Taguig City ordinance that increased from eight to 12 the number of elected councilors in the city’s two districts. MANILA – Malacañang on Monday refuted the claim of former President Rodrigo Duterte that crime remains rampant in the Philippines, stressing that the country and Filipinos are safer under the Marcos administration.
