Manila: Local cement manufacturers are ready to meet the increasing demand for housing in the Philippines as domestic production capacity improved over the years, Cement Manufacturers’ Association of the Philippines (CEMAP) said in a statement Tuesday. Manila: Self-rated poverty in the Philippines dropped in the third quarter of 2024 with about 43 percent of Filipino families, or approximately 11.3 million, considering themselves poor, according to the latest survey conducted by OCTA Research.
