PBBM names new CSC chair

Manila: President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has appointed Agrarian Reform Undersecretary Marilyn Barua-Yap as the new chairperson of the Civil Service Commission (CSC), Malacañang announced Thursday. Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin in a text message confirmed the latest appointment of Barua-Yap. Barua-Yap replaced former CSC chairperson Karlo Nograles, who resigned earlier this month as he sought to run for mayor of Davao City in the 2025 midterm elections. War reenactment to mark 80th commemmoration of Leyte Gulf Landings
