MANILA: The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and the Office for Transportation Security (OTS) have signed an agreement for the security of international ships and ports and joint training initiatives. MANILA: The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Wednesday reported the arrest of four individuals for falsifying public documents. The NBI identified the suspects as Paul Abellera, Edgardo Carpio, and Jenny Trajano, as well as a minor, who were caught in the act of falsifying official documents during an operation in Sta. Cruz, Manila on Oct. 15. Recovered from the four were computers, office tools, and spurious documents, such as NBI clearance, Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) birth certificates, land titles, passports, and Land Transportation Office certificates. MANILA: The city government of Manila has provided cash and financial assistance to families that were affected by recent fire incidents in the city. Mayor Honey Lacuna and Vice Mayor Yul Servo led the distribution of assistance to fire victims in San Andres in the city’s 5th district on Wednesday, with each family receiving PHP10,000 cash aid. The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) 5 (Bicol) said on Wednesday the Orgullo kan Bikol (OKB or Pride of Bicol) trade and travel fair in Metro Manila surpassed its sales target.
