88 Foreign Halal Certification Bodies Receive JAKIM Accreditation

SHAH ALAM, Continuous efforts by the government to promote Malaysia’s Halal certification globally have resulted in 88 foreign halal certification bodies being recognised by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM). JPJ Fixes MyJPJ App Glitch For B1, B2 Licence Holders

PUTRAJAYA, The Road Transport Department (JPJ) has promptly rectified and enhanced the MyJPJ application after an earlier issue where the message ‘non-Malaysians are ineligible’ was displayed. LGM Confiscates 42 Reclaimed Rubber Pallets Worth About RM200,000 In Klang

KUALA LUMPUR, The Malaysian Rubber Board (LGM) has confiscated 42 pallets filled of reclaimed rubber weighing 70 metric tons along with other items worth about RM200,000 in a raid on a rubber factory in Klang, Selangor. The board said in a statement today that the raid on the factory, believed to be operating illegally, was a joint effort between the Klang Royal City Council, the Selangor Department of Environment and the police. ‘The factory is believed to be actively conducting the production and sale of reclaimed rubber outside of licensed premises,’ LGM said, adding that such activities contravened Regulation 7(1)(b)
