UKM Welcomes 6,718 New Students For 2024/2025 Academic Session

KUALA LUMPUR, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) will see the admission of 6,718 new students gleaned from 86,364 applications for the 2024/2025 academic session involving all study programmes. UKM Vice-Chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Mohd Ekhwan Toriman said the figure includes students from all mainstream categories as well as local and international students through the university’s Centre for Shaping Advanced and Professional Education (UKMShape). KOTA KINABALU, The Samudera Perkasa Timur 2/2024 Exercise has enhanced the interoperability and mutual understanding of the maritime community in ensuring regional stability and security, especially in the South China Sea. LZS Introduces Radiuz Initiative To Encourage Zakat Payments

SHAH ALAM, The Selangor Zakat Board (LZS) launched the Rakan Affiliate Dakwah Kutipan Zakat (Radiuz) today to encourage more individuals to pay zakat. Head of the Collection Division, Muhd Fikri Naim Harun said about one million residents in Selangor aged 25 and above have yet to fulfill their zakat obligations to LZS. He said starting in October, registered Radiuz partners will earn a one per cent commission on each zakat payment processed through their platform. ‘With only 650 staff members, it’s impossible for us to reach one million zakat payers directly, so we need Radiuz to help promote zakat awareness
