No Notice Of No-confidence Vote Against PM Received So Far – Dewan Rakyat Speaker

KUALA LUMPUR, Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul said he has not received any official notice of a motion of no confidence against Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim from any Member of Parliament (MP), including from the opposition. He described any talk on the motion of no confidence as mere rumours. “I have not received anything so far … no written notice or phone calls. As usual, any motion must have a written notice,” he told reporters after closing the Engagement Programme for the Third Meeting of the Dewan Rakyat with Media Practitioners at the Parliament building today.

Gold Futures Rise For 5th Straight Day

KUALA LUMPUR, The gold futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives extended its gains for the fifth consecutive day, supported by continued optimism on lower US interest rates. The September 2024 gold futures contract rose to US$2,658.50 per troy ounce, up from US$2,632.70 on Tuesday. The October 2024, November 2024, December 2024, February 2025 and April 2025 contracts all settled higher at US$2,671.50 per troy ounce, compared with US$2,645.70 previously. GISBH Premises In Negeri Sembilan Under Scrutiny After Logo Change

SEREMBAN, Negeri Sembilan enforcement agencies have been ordered to monitor business premises linked to GISB Holdings Sdn Bhd (GISBH) after some of them allegedly changed their logos to avoid being detected. Petrol, Diesel Prices Remain Unchanged Until Oct 2

KUALA LUMPUR, The retail price of RON97 and RON95 nationwide will remain at RM3.19 and RM2.05 per litre respectively from Sept 26-Oct 2. The Ministry of Finance said in a statement that the retail price of diesel in the Peninsula would also remain at RM2.95 per litre while that for Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan would also remain unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.
