7,252 Flood Victims At 35 PPS In Kedah As Of 4 PM Today

KUALA LUMPUR, The number of flood victims in Kedah has dropped to 7,252 people as of 4 pm today compared to 7,958 people this morning. According to the Social Welfare Department’s (JKM) Info Bencana, all the victims, involving 2,418 families, are at 35 relief centres (PPS) in four districts affected by the floods. The Kota Setar district recorded the highest number of victims, totalling 4,984 people, followed by Pendang (1,604), Kubang Pasu (579) and Pokok Sena (85 people). GISBH Members Still Practise Tarekat Aurad Muhammadiyah

KUALA LUMPUR, The investigation by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) found that members of GISB Holdings Sdn Bhd (GISBH) allegedly still practised the Tarekat Aurad Muhammadiyah that was adopted by Al Arqam members which was confirmed to have deviated from the true teachings of Islam in 1994. Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain said this followed the discovery of leaflets and books during Op Global conducted at GISBH’s premises recently.
