Sultan Of Kedah Visits Flood Evacuees At Relief Centre

ALOR SETAR, The Sultan of Kedah, Al-Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin Sultan Badlishah visited flood evacuees housed at the relief centre in Sultan Abdul Halim Stadium, Suka Menanti here today. Sultan Sallehuddin spent almost an hour from 4.30 pm visiting the 588 people from 170 families currently seeking shelter at the centre today. SK Abang Ali PIBG Gives Cash Aid To Kampung Hilir Fire Victims

SIBU, The Sekolah Kebangsaan Abang (SK) Ali Parent-Teacher Association (PIBG) today presented cash aid to 10 families who were affected by the blaze in Kampung Hilir yesterday. SK Abang Ali PIBG chairman Datuk Mohamad Yusnar Matalie said they contributed RM500 to each family to help ease their burden after losing their homes in the fire. He said 13 pupils from the 10 families are students of the school.
