ALOR SETAR, The Kedah government has activated the Disaster Operations Control Centre (PKOB) in preparation for the monsoon transition phase, which is expected to start tomorrow and last until early November. KAPIT, An armed forces personnel died after being shot by a civilian suspected of hunting in the forest area of Km 8, Jalan Balak Multiplus, Song near here early this morning. Johor Allocates Almost RM1 Million To Address Flood Problems In Kluang

KLUANG, The Johor government has disbursed RM910,840 this year to overcome flood problems in the Kluang district, involving work on Sungai Melantai and Sungai Mengkibol.
