SHAH ALAM, The Selangor Mufti Department will convene on Sept 30 to make a decision regarding GISB Holdings Sdn Bhd (GISBH) in the state. SERDANG, Over 85,000 seedlings were sold during the Malaysian Agriculture, Horticulture, and Agrotourism (MAHA) 2024 exhibition, enough to utilise a total land area of 839 hectares. Agriculture Department director-general Datuk Nor Sam Alwi said that the figure represented a 17 per cent increase compared to the sales value of seedlings at MAHA 2022. ‘This includes sales from the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA) and the Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (MARDI),’ he told reporters after the closing ceremony of MAHA 2024 today.
