Floods: Number Of Evacuees In Kedah Rises To 8,022 As Of 4 PM

KUALA LUMPUR, The number of evacuees due to flooding in Kedah has continued to rise as of 4 pm, while those affected by the high-tide phenomenon in Selangor have been allowed to return home. According to the Disaster Info portal of the Social Welfare Department (JKM), the number of evacuees in KEDAH has increased to 8,022 people involving 2,568 families and currently being housed in 40 temporary relief centres across five districts, up from 7,494 reported this morning.
