Sabah Govt Closely Monitoring, Reviewing GISBH Operations

The Sabah government, through the Sabah Islamic Affairs Coordination Committee (JaPHEIS), is closely monitoring and reviewing the operations of GISB Holdings (GISBH) Sdn Bhd to determine whether it is associated with any prohibited or deviant beliefs in the state. Ministries And Gov’t Agencies’ Overseas Trips Now Require Ministerial Approval – PM Anwar

All projects, trips and tasks abroad involving government ministries, companies and agencies must be referred to their respective ministry secretaries-general and department heads and approved by the ministers, said Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. The Prime Minister said the decision to require ministerial approval was made because some boards within government companies and agencies appeared to be making decisions in their own interests. Perlis Fatwa Committee Declares GISBH As Deviant Sect

The Perlis Fatwa Committee in its special meeting today concluded that the teachings of Global Ikhwan Service and Business Holding Sdn Bhd (GISBH) contain deviant elements, particularly in their spiritual beliefs. Police Looking For Suspect Involved In Neighbour’s Murder

Police are looking for a suspect in connection with a murder case in Kampung Lingkudau, Keningau yesterday. Keningau deputy police chief DSP Alizam Dalaman said during the 9.40pm incident, the suspect, a man, is believed to have been involved in the murder of his neighbour.
