Tommy Osmeña on Thursday said former Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) chief Royina Garma allegedly received PHP1 million weekly in payola from illegal gambling. Manila: Results of a recent Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey revealed that 39 percent of adult Filipinos believed their quality of life improved compared to a year ago. The survey, conducted from June 23-July 1, 2024, also showed that 23 percent of the respondents said their quality of life got worse than 12 months before, while 37 percent said their lives remained unchanged.
