DPWH-Bicol implements ‘Lakbay Alalay’ for Peñafrancia events

10K residents benefit from new road network in N. Cotabato

COTABATO CITY – Around 10,000 residents in three remote communities are now benefiting from the newly completed PHP89.9 million road network in Matalam, North Cotabato, constructed by the Department of Public Works and Highways in the Soccsksargen Region (DPWH-12). US donates P11-M disaster response equipment to Cagayan

MANILA – The United States government, through the US Agency for International Development (USAID), donated PHP11.6 million worth of mobile storage units and mobile energy systems to help strengthen Cagayan province’s disaster risk reduction capacity. The US Embassy in Manila on Thursday said the equipment was formally turned over between Sept. 9 to 10 to Cagayan Provincial Administrator Maria Rosario Mamba-Villaflor. 4 domestic flights canceled due to bad weather

MANILA – At least four domestic flights were canceled due to bad weather as of 3 p.m. Thursday. The Manila International Airport Authority said these flights were CebGo DG 6881/6882 Manila-Surigao-Manila, and Cebu Pacific 5J 703/704 Manila-Dipolog-Manila. Earlier, the weather bureau said the southwest monsoon and the trough of tropical cyclone Bebinca will cause rains in several areas.
