The licensing requirement for social media and Internet messaging service providers (Service Providers) with a threshold of eight (8) million users was decided based on the need to regulate Service Providers with significant impact on the Malaysian digital ecosystem. SAR Operation To Search For Sinkhole Victim Resumes This Morning

KUALA LUMPUR, The search and rescue (SAR) operation for the victim of a sinkhole at Jalan Masjid India here resumed this morning, after being postponed at 7.30 pm yesterday, due to heavy rain. A Bernama survey at the location at 8 am found that the SAR team consisting of the police, fire brigade, Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) and the Civil Defence Force (APM) are already at the scene of the incident early morning. The SAR operation, which entered its sixth day today, is understood to begin with discussions on the techniques, methods and assigning tasks besides the survey work

Second Sinkhole Spotted On Jalan Masjid India

KUALA LUMPUR, Another sinkhole has been reported on Jalan Masjid India here, about 50 metres from where the ground suddenly collapsed, swallowing a woman pedestrian last Friday. The latest incident is said to have occurred at around 2.30 am today, believed due to the heavy rain and storm last night. However, checks at the location show that the sinkhole area has been completely cordoned off by the security team to prevent any untoward incidents. Policemen Buried In Landslide While Disposing Of An Old Bomb In Kluang Stable

KLUANG, Two policemen from the Bomb Disposal Unit (UPB) of the Johor police contingent headquarters (IPK) who were buried while attempting to dispose of an old bomb, in Jalan Tabah, Taman Sri Lambak, here, yesterday, are in stable condition. Kluang district police chief ACP Bahrin Mohd Noh said the two personnel who were previously treated at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Enche’ Besar Hajjah Khalsom Hospital (HEBHK) here have been transferred to a normal ward. He said the two policemen are Corporal Abdul Halim, 39, who reportedly fractured the hip bone and three left ribs, while Corporal Muhammad Faruuqi
