64 Companies Limited By Guarantee Approved To Collect Donations – SSM

The Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) today revealed that 64 companies limited by guarantee (CLBGs) have applied and received approval from the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (minister) or the registrar to collect donations from the public. SSM said the initiative to display the list of CLBGs on the SSM portal was taken to make it easier for the public to check the latest status of CLBGs that are registered and approved to collect donations. Orang Besar Jajahan Perak Tengah Dies At 63

Orang Besar Jajahan Perak Tengah Datuk Dr Ahmad Ruslan Mohd Ridzuan passed away at 7.53 this morning at Teluk Intan Hospital. He was 63. The news was confirmed to Bernama by Tajul Urus Hamid, special assistant to Orang Besar Jajahan Perak Tengah. He said Ahmad Ruslan had been battling cancer for nearly a year and had frequently visited Teluk Intan Hospital for treatment. Nearly RM 3 Million Allocated For Development Of Orang Asli Community In Nenggiri

The government has allocated nearly RM3 million this year for economic, infrastructure, and social development of the Orang Asli community in the Nenggiri state constituency, said Datuk Sapiah Mohd Nor, director-general of the Department of Orang Asli Development (JAKOA). Alliance for a Safe Community chairman Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye has called on the government to address the issue of uncontrolled vaping among school students with urgency.
