Wilbert Lee on Wednesday filed a House resolution calling for a probe into the impact of oil spill from the sunken MT Terranova off the coast of Limay, Bataan to the environment and livelihood of around 19,000 fisherfolk and residents of Bataan and Bulacan. KWAP’s Net Income Surged By 36 Times To RM9.7 Bln In FY2023

KUALA LUMPUR,, The Retirement Fund Inc’s (KWAP) net income surged 36-times to RM9.7 billion for the financial year 2023 (FY2023) — its second highest figure since 2017– compared to RM263 million reported in 2022. Police ops net almost P1-M drugs in Davao Region

DAVAO CITY: Authorities in the Davao Region seized nearly PHP1 million worth of illegal drugs in 24-hour operations, the Police Regional Office (PRO-11) reported Wednesday. Inflation, Economic Growth Forecasts Not Affected By Targeted Subsidy Implementation — Mof

KUALA LUMPUR,, The implementation of targeted diesel subsidies is not expected to have a significant impact on inflation and economic growth, as the government has taken into account the rate of increase in diesel retail price and the cash assistance provided, the Finance Ministry (MoF) said.
