First aid facilities to be set up in key tourist sites

MANILA: Tourist first aid facilities and booths will soon rise in several major beach destinations, Department of Tourism (DOT) said Monday. DA, URC sign 5-year program to boost potato farmers’ income

MANILA: The Department of Agriculture (DA) and Universal Robina Corp. (URC) signed on Monday a five-year agreement to jointly establish and continue implementing the Sustainable Potato Program (SPP). In a statement, the DA said the program will help establish reliable seeds systems, capacitate potato farmers organizations and boost farm productivity and farmers’ income in top potato-producing regions. BI: No leeway for foreign POGO workers with families, kids in PH
