1 dead in La Union, 59 families evacuate amid Typhoon Carina

MALASIQUI: La Union recorded its first casualty since rains from the southwest monsoon aggravated by Super Typhoon Carina started Tuesday, while the number of evacuees has declined to 59 families. LAOAG CITY: The Tagudin-Cervantes road in Barangay Malaya, Cervantes in Ilocos Sur is not passable to all types of vehicles due to a major landslide as of 11 a.m. on Thursday, according to the Department of Public Works and Highways in Region 1. DA upgrades swine production of Camiguin farmers

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY: The Department of Agriculture in Northern Mindanao (DA-10) has completed its assistance to livestock farmers in Camiguin Island province consisting of a swine production project worth PHP10.7 million.
