NPA squad leader killed in Eastern Samar clash

TACLOBAN CITY: A top leader of the New People’s Army (NPA) died in a clash between government forces and rebels in the upland Osmeña village in General MacArthur, Eastern Samar on Thursday. SEOUL: A trash-carrying balloon sent by North Korea landed on the presidential office compound Wednesday, but nothing dangerous was found, the Presidential Security Service (PSS) said. DPWH: ‘Game-changing’ projects to boost mobility

MANILA: The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) touted some of its “game-changing projects” that would help spur economic development by improving mobility.
