109 Police Officers Successfully Pass 2025 Bar Exams

Manila: A total of 109 police officers passed the 2025 Bar Examinations, the results of which were released last week. "This is a proud moment for the entire PNP," acting Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. said in a statement on Monday. "Passing the Bar is no small feat - it requires years of sacrifice, focus, and determination. That our police officers achieved this while serving the public makes it even more meaningful."

According to Philippine News Agency, Nartatez emphasized that the officers' success reflects the PNP's ongoing reform and professionalization efforts, specifically in the areas of upholding due process, human rights, and justice. "Hindi lang kayo basta abogado ngayon - kayo ay abogado ng bayan at tagapaglingkod ng batas (You are not just lawyers now - you are lawyers for the people and servants of the law). You bring deeper legal expertise to the PNP, helping us serve with greater integrity and credibility," he stated.

Of the 11,420 examinees who completed all three examination days, 5,594 passed the 2025 Bar Examinations, posting a national passing rate of 48.98 percent. The Bar Examinations are widely regarded as among the most difficult exams in the country.
