PNP-HPG Intensifies Search for 10 Luxury Cars Linked to Fugitive Zaldy Co

Quezon city: The Philippine National Police-Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG) is actively searching for 10 additional luxury vehicles connected to former Ako Bicol representative Zaldy Co. Co, who has been out of the country since July last year, has been declared a fugitive.

According to Philippine News Agency, PNP-HPG chief Brig. Gen. Hansel Marantan, during a press briefing at Camp Crame, stated that the vehicles are believed to be under the custody of Co's staff. He made an appeal to the drivers to surrender these vehicles, warning them of potential trouble if they are found in possession of the cars.

Earlier, authorities seized 14 vehicles allegedly owned by Co during an operation at a condominium in Taguig City on January 8. These vehicles are linked to Co's alleged involvement in anomalous flood control projects. Of the seized vehicles, 12 were handed over to the Independent Commission for Infrastructure in Taguig City, while the remaining two, which could not be driven, stayed at the building.

The collection of seized vehicles includes high-end models such as Rolls-Royce, Toyota Sequoia, Cadillac Escalade, and Lexus, highlighting the luxury nature of the assets in question.
