Weeklong PDEA Operations Seize PHP63.36 Million in Illegal Drugs and Arrest 75 Individuals

Manila: The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) reported on Monday the successful seizure of PHP63.36 million worth of illegal drugs and the arrest of 75 individuals, including eight drug den owners, during a focused weeklong anti-drug operation.

According to Philippines News Agency, PDEA Director General Isagani Nerez disclosed that these arrests and drug seizures were the outcomes of 50 strategic anti-illegal drug operations carried out by the agency from November 7 to 14, 2025. The operations led to the confiscation of 8.3 kilograms of shabu and 14.6 kilograms of dried marijuana leaves.

Additionally, the PDEA eradicated approximately 18,150 fully-grown marijuana plants in the Cordillera highlands during the operations. “This is about lives we saved, families kept whole, and communities reclaimed. Every gram of shabu seized is a potential life not destroyed. Every marijuana plant uprooted is a future addiction prevented,” Nerez emphasized in a statement.

The individuals apprehended during these operations included 43 pushers and eight drug den owners or maintainers. They are set to face charges for violations of Republic Act 9165, known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
