Warm and Humid Weather Expected Across Most of the Philippines

Manila:Most parts of the Philippines are set to experience warm and humid weather conditions due to the prevailing easterlies, as reported by the weather bureau on Wednesday.

According to Philippines News Agency, the easterlies are also expected to bring scattered rain showers and thunderstorms to the regions of Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, and Catanduanes, increasing the risk of flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains in these areas.

In contrast, the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley may see isolated light rains as a result of the northeast monsoon. The rest of the country will continue to experience isolated rain showers and thunderstorms, influenced by the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.

Temperatures are forecast to soar to 34 degrees Celsius in Zamboanga and 33 degrees Celsius in Davao, while Metro Manila, Legazpi, Tuguegarao, Puerto Princesa, the Kalayaan Islands, Iloilo, Cebu, Tacloban, and Cagayan de Oro can expect temperatures up to 32 degrees Celsius.

PAGASA weather specialist Chenel Dominguez stated that Severe Tropical Storm In-Fa is unlikely to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility and is not currently affecting any part of the country.
