Processed Applications for Voters’ Registration Reach Nearly 1.2 Million for Upcoming Elections

Manila: Nearly 1.2 million applications for voters' registration have so far been processed for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) scheduled for November 2.

According to Philippine News Agency, the running total of applications nationwide has reached 1,187,115. The data reveals that of the total processed applications, 629,863 are female applicants while 557,252 are male. The Commission on Elections (Comelec) reported that 920,122 individuals are applying as regular voters. Among these, 324,536 are new registrants who are at least 18 years old and above.

Furthermore, a total of 340,999 individuals have applied for a transfer from other cities or municipalities, 73,582 people have applied for a transfer within the same city or municipality, and 48,634 have applied for reactivation of their registration. Additionally, applications for new registrants aged 15 to 17 years for the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) polls have reached 266,993.

The registration period, which resumed on October 20, 2025, is set to conclude on May 18. .
