Tunis:President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. remains focused on his responsibilities despite a recent decline in his public satisfaction ratings, according to Malacañang.
According to Philippines News Agency, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro stated that survey results have no bearing on the President's dedication to his work. Speaking to reporters, she emphasized that regardless of the survey's timing or its outcome, President Marcos continues his duties without interruption.
The statement followed the Social Weather Stations' survey conducted from September 21 to 27, which recorded a drop in Marcos' net satisfaction score to a 'poor' -11 in the third quarter of 2026, down from a 'neutral' -7 in June. The survey indicated that 35 percent of respondents were satisfied with his performance, while 46 percent were dissatisfied and 20 percent remained undecided.
Castro highlighted the timing of the survey's release, noting it coincides with various issues involving Vice President Sara Duterte. Nevertheless, she assured that President Marcos will persist in fulfilling his duties irrespective of public opinion shifts.
