Manila: President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s trust and performance ratings both increased, as revealed by the OCTA Research survey conducted from July 12 to 17, which was released on Wednesday.
According to Philippines News Agency, the latest Tugon ng Masa survey indicated that the President’s trust rating rose to 64 percent, marking an increase of four percentage points from the previous 60 percent. Similarly, his performance rating saw an uptick, climbing three points to reach 62 percent.
The polling firm highlighted that these increases in trust and performance ratings signify a reversal of the previous downward trend observed since the fourth quarter of 2024, indicating renewed confidence in the President’s leadership.
OCTA Research noted that President Marcos secured the highest trust and performance ratings among the top officials surveyed for this quarter. The second quarter survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews with 1,200 respondents aged 18 and above, with a margin of error of ±3 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.
