Caloocan city: The National Housing Authority (NHA) on Thursday awarded 25 housing units to qualified beneficiaries at Deparo Residences in Barangay 168, Caloocan City, as part of the government's Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program.
According to Philippines News Agency, NHA Assistant General Manager Alvin Feliciano led the ceremonial awarding, which underscored the agency's continued implementation of national housing programs in coordination with local government units and key housing agencies. Deparo Residences is a flagship NHA housing project under the 4PH in Caloocan City, composed of 12 buildings with a total of 648 residential units and 72 commercial units.
The development is designed as an integrated community that provides safe housing and livelihood opportunities for beneficiaries. The awarding was conducted with Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo Malapitan, emphasizing the partnership between the NHA and the city government in expanding access to housing. The housing units are being offered under a rent-to-own scheme through the Pag-IBIG Fund to provide beneficiaries with an affordable path to home ownership.
An orientation and question-and-answer session was also held to brief beneficiaries on financing terms, obligations, and the housing acquisition process. The NHA said the activity forms part of the continued rollout of the 4PH Program in line with the government's thrust to provide safe, sustainable, and well-planned housing communities nationwide.
Rep. Oscar Malapitan of Caloocan's First District, Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Undersecretary Roman Nicholo Molina and Assistant Secretary Angelito Aguila, Pag-IBIG Fund Senior Vice President Fermin Sta.
