NegOcc Calls for Exhibitors in Renewable Energy Week Expo 2026

Organizers of the Renewable Energy Week Expo 2026 led by the Negros Occidental provincial government are calling for exhibitors for what is considered the biggest renewable energy convention in the Visayas. Now on its third year, the event will be held at SMX Convention Center here on May 7 to 9 as part of the province's continuing initiatives under its SecuRE Negros comprehensive power security program.

According to Philippines News Agency, SecuRE Negros invited industry stakeholders and advocacy groups to be part of the platform for renewable energy solutions and collaboration in Negros Island Region. The invitation encourages participants to showcase innovations, connect with industry leaders, and contribute to the transition to a clean energy future, covering areas such as solar, wind, storage, green mobility, and climate solutions.

The 2025 edition of the expo featured renewable energy innovations, policy forums, community projects, and ed ucational exhibits aimed at empowering local action and accelerating the province's energy transition. The province's direction for achieving a sustainable, secure, and renewable energy future is outlined in the SecuRE Negros Roadmap or Negros Occidental Energy Sector Development Strategy and Action Plan, which is officially available on &lt;https://securenegros.net&gt;.

The roadmap also highlights strategies and actions that will empower communities, promote energy efficiency, and strengthen its commitment to clean energy and climate resilience. The Renewable Energy Week Expo 2026 is supported by the Department of Energy, Negrosanon Initiative for Climate and the Environment Inc., Teamworks, and the Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation.
