Bulacan: National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) Vice Chairperson and Executive Officer Rafael Vicente R. Calinisan led the recognition of 33 personnel from the Bulacan Police Provincial Office (BPPO) for their effective operations and solved cases in the province.
According to Philippines News Agency, Calinisan was accompanied by BPPO provincial director Col. Angel L. Garcillano in presenting certificates of commendation to officers from various localities including the City of Malolos, Marilao, Sta. Maria, Baliwag, Meycauayan, Bustos, San Rafael, Calumpit, the City of San Jose Del Monte, the Provincial Intelligence Unit, and the 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company.
Calinisan praised the awardees, referring to them as the 'action stars' of the Bulacan police force. He shared his ambition to personally express gratitude to half of the country's police officers before his term concludes in 2031. "My plan is to shake hands with at least half of the entire police force before I retire. I want to make every police officer feel that the NAPOLCOM is your ally," Calinisan stated in Filipino.
In a gesture of transparency and openness, Calinisan offered his personal contact number to the attendees, inviting them to inform, request, or suggest policy changes and modifications related to the Philippine National Police (PNP).
During his visit to Bulacan, Calinisan also participated in the unveiling of new facility markers at the BPPO camp. This included renovations of the Kabalikat Hall Conference Room, the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Chapel, the Kabalikat '98 Activity Center, the relocated Bulacan PPO Flagpole, and the Kabalikat '98 Multi-purpose Lobby.
