IPOH, The state government has advised athletes in the state who have been threatened or intimidated by any party to report the incident to the police. Perak Education, Higher Education, Youth and Sports Committee chairman Khairudin Abu Hanipah said the move is the safest step to prevent unwanted actions from happening. "On the part of the state government itself, we also have to make sure the security of the sports facilities such courts and fields are given due priority. "The use of the Safe Sports Code introduced by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) before should also be practised by every athlete to ensure no untoward incidents happen to them," he said.
