Dingras: The municipal government of Dingras, through its Local Youth Development Office (LYDO), announced Wednesday that applications for the Aktibo Dingreneo Incentive Program are now open for submission. Institutionalized through Municipal Ordinance No. 2025-12-032, the program grants financial incentives to qualified youth achievers who have brought pride and honor to the municipality through outstanding accomplishments in their respective fields.
According to Philippines News Agency, local youth development officer Margarita Aquino highlighted that last year, the municipality awarded around PHP228,000 in cash incentives to 60 recipients. This year, the LYDO has significantly increased the budget to PHP800,000, aiming to honor outstanding youth achievers across various domains including academics, leadership, sports, and community service.
"The initiative underscores the local government's commitment to fostering a culture of excellence and active citizenship among the youth," Aquino stated. The program offers substantial financial rewards, with bar and board examination topnotchers (Top 10) from the municipality receiving cash incentives ranging from PHP50,000 to PHP100,000. Moreover, college graduates with Latin honors are also eligible for rewards, with PHP10,000 allocated for summa cum laude, PHP5,000 for magna cum laude, and PHP2,500 for cum laude.
The program further incentivizes winners of government-recognized competitions in academics, sports, arts, and other fields, offering cash awards from PHP1,500 to PHP20,000 for individuals, and up to PHP40,000 for groups who secure gold, silver, or bronze medals at international, national, or regional levels.
To be eligible for the Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 awarding, applicants are required to submit all necessary documents before July 31, 2026, at the LYDO. These documents include proof of residency or enrollment, proof of achievement, and a valid ID.
