Manila: Prices of gasoline and diesel will both increase by PHP1.20 per liter on Tuesday as supply issues continue. In an advisory, Seaoil announced that it would implement the price hike effective 6 a.m. on November 18.
According to Philippines News Agency, this marks the seventh consecutive week of gasoline price hikes and the fourth week for diesel. The advisory also noted that there would be no movement on kerosene prices due to State of Calamity Proclamation No. 1077.
The proclamation was issued by Malaca±ang on November 5, 2025, following the impact of Typhoon Tino (Kalmaegi). This measure aims to allow government agencies to provide maximum care, assistance, and services to individuals and families affected by the disaster, implement emergency rehabilitation projects to mitigate its impact, and facilitate the resumption of normal social and economic activities.
Under a state of calamity, prices of basic commodities are frozen for 60 days, while kerosene prices are frozen for 15 days.
