Manila: The country will experience fair weather with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the prevailing easterlies, the weather bureau said Wednesday. Luzon will experience warm and humid weather, especially at noon, said Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) weather specialist Chenel Dominguez.
According to Philippines News Agency, "Isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are also likely, especially in the afternoon and evening," Dominguez added. Fair weather with isolated rain showers and localized thunderstorms are also forecast across the Visayas and Mindanao. Dominguez warned that thunderstorms could also result in flash floods or landslides.
Meanwhile, Zamboanga's and Davao's temperature could reach up to 33°C. Temperature of up to 32°C is forecast in Tuguegarao, Puerto Princesa, Kalayaan Islands; and up to 31°C in Metro Manila, Legazpi, Tacloban, Cagayan de Oro, and Cebu. Dominguez said no weather disturbance was monitored inside and outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
Moderate winds and moderate seas will prevail across the northern and eastern sections of the country. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said.
