Manila: Low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific (CEB) announced on Monday that its subsidiary, Cebgo, will operate all AirSWIFT flights starting July 1, 2026. AirSWIFT currently operates flights between Clark and El Nido, as well as routes in El Nido and Boracay, Bohol, Cebu, and Coron.
According to Philippines News Agency, while there will be no changes in AirSWIFT's flight schedules and services, all T6 (AirSWIFT) coded flights will be rebranded and coded as DG (Cebgo) flights. This development comes after CEB signed a share purchase agreement in 2024 with ALI Capital Corp. to acquire a 100 percent stake in the boutique airline AirSWIFT.
The PHP1.75-billion acquisition is part of CEB's strategy to enhance connectivity to various local destinations.
