At 9.56 am, the spot month July 2024 contract added 1.0 point to 1,615.5, August 2024 inched up half-a-point to 1,617.5, September 2024 rose 1.5 points to 1,601.5, and December 2024 increased 3.0 points to 1,610.0. MANILA: Secretary Alfredo Pascual has stepped down as head of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) said Wednesday. BACOLOD CITY: A 64-year-old combatant of the New People’s Army (NPA) was killed during an encounter with troops of the Philippine Army’s 15th Infantry Battalion (IB) in Barangay Basak, Cauayan, Negros Occidental on Monday.
