Melaka PAS Deputy Commissioner III Muhammad Puhat Bedol has died to to a suspected heart attack while participating in the PAS Melaka Football and Netball Championship at the Batu Berendam Sports Complex today. Datuk Kamarudin Sidek, a PAS Melaka liaison committee member said that Muhammad Puhat, 55, who was also Hang Tuah Jaya PAS president, collapsed and lost consciousness around 12.30 pm while playing in the parents’ futsal category. Kamarudin, who is also Jasin PAS president, said that Muhammad Puhat was given cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) by other participants at the event before being rushed to Melaka Hospital for further treatment.

MANILA: The crime rate in the Mimaropa region dropped 63.64 percent during the first week of August compared to the same period last year. Data from the Regional Investigation and Detection Management Division of the Police Regional Office-24B showed 52 reported crimes from Aug. 1 to 7, lower than 143 during the same period last year.
