GEORGE TOWN, The Northern Corridor Implementation Authority (NCIA) has facilitated a joint venture agreement between Yenher Holdings Bhd and Danish firm Fermentationexperts A/S (FE) to form YH European Protein Asia Sdn Bhd (YHEPA). NCIA said that initially, YHEPA would convert an existing facility in Simpang Ampat, Penang, into a state-of-the-art GMP+ certified manufacturing plant with a total investment, for this first phase, of an estimated RM75 million.
