Kelantan Fire Dept Gears Up For Monsoon With Call For Helicopter Support

TUMPAT, The Fire and Rescue Department in Kelantan has requested a fire and rescue helicopter be stationed in the state to prepare for the Northeast monsoon season due November. Its director Zainal Madasin said this measure is necessary as Kelantan typically experiences more severe flooding compared to other states. Northern Floods: Over 5,000 Hectares Of Rice Crops Affected, RM32 Million Loss

PUTRAJAYA, A total of 5,822.59 hectares of rice crops in the northern states have been affected by flooding, with an estimated loss of RM32 million in rice yield.
