A total of 420 partner-beneficiaries of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) 5 (Bicol) water and food project from Sorsogon province received their wages from the Department of Labor and Employment’s (DOLE) emergency employment program on Monday. P40.9-M allocated for Cebu PWD cash-for-food QR cardholders

The Department of Social Welfare and Services (DSWD) allocated PHP40.9 million worth of assistance through the Cash for Food Subsidy Plus program. Shalaine Marie Lucero, regional director of DSWD-Central Visayas, said the assistance program is a joint project of the agency and the provincial government of Cebu.
