PH eyes 456K rooms, ‘globally competitive’ hotel sector by 2028

Manila: The Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Philippine Hotel Owners Association (PHOA) are shooting for a ‘globally competitive’ hotel industry, targeting to reach 456,000 in room keys by 2028 in their newly launched hospitality sector roadmap. W. Visayas inflation eases to 3.4% in September

The movement of goods and services in Western Visayas slowed down to 3.4 percent in September from 4.9 percent in August, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) reported on Wednesday. The headline inflation, year-on-year, was also lower at 6.6 percent.
