A total of 9,116 households have benefited from the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Walang Gutom: Food Stamp Program through their electronic benefit transfer (EBT) cards worth PHP3,000 each. MANILA: The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Wednesday reported the arrest of four individuals for falsifying public documents. The NBI identified the suspects as Paul Abellera, Edgardo Carpio, and Jenny Trajano, as well as a minor, who were caught in the act of falsifying official documents during an operation in Sta. Cruz, Manila on Oct. 15. Recovered from the four were computers, office tools, and spurious documents, such as NBI clearance, Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) birth certificates, land titles, passports, and Land Transportation Office certificates.
