DTI imposes price freeze in Albay and Magpet in Cotabato

Manila: The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) said a price freeze on basic necessities is now in place in Albay province and Magpet in Cotabato after the declaration of a state of calamity due to widespread floods and landslides. 50K families affected by floods in Maguindanao Sur due to ‘Kristine’

COTABATO CITY – Torrential rains brought by Tropical Storm Kristine over the past two days have affected 50,000 families, or roughly 250,000 individuals, in Maguindanao del Sur, an official said Wednesday.
