Gov’t work, classes suspended in Bicol Region Thursday

MANILA: Malacañang suspended government work and classes for Thursday at all levels in the Bicol Region due to the continuous rainfall caused by Severe Tropical Storm ‘Kristine’ (Trami). Manila: The Department of Health (DOH) has intensified its telekonsulta in areas affected by Tropical Storm Kristine, urging the public to avail the services. The DOH urged those who walked in the flood, ingested contaminated water due to flood or rain and have symptoms after exposure to flood or rain to avail of telekonsulta services at the National Patient Navigation and Referral Center. The national telekonsulta hotline is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and it can be reached by dialing 1555 then pressing 2.
