SC Transfers Davao Corruption Cases to Cebu

Davao: The Supreme Court (SC) announced on Wednesday the transfer of two cases involving Sara Discaya and engineers from the Department of Public Works and Highways in Davao Occidental to the regional trial court (RTC) in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. This move aligns with the Court’s guidelines that mandate corruption-related cases from infrastructure projects be forwarded to the nearest designated anti-graft court in the closest judicial region. Buenavista: Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) officials distributed 13,903 electronic land titles and granted debt condonations to thousands of farmers in the Caraga Region on Wednesday.
