Calapan Jail Inmates Benefit from Free Medical and Skin Consultations
Manila: Hope and compassion filled the halls of the Calapan City District Jail as the Provincial Health Office (PHO) conducted a free medical and skin consultation for persons deprived of liberty (PDLs), bringing essential healthcare services directly to those most in need. According to Philippines News Agency, the initiative, part of the PHO’s ongoing outreach programs, gave PDLs access to general checkups and dermatological consultations without leaving the facility. The program addressed both immediate medical concerns and preventive health needs among the incarcerated population.
