Suspect in Albay Town Shooting Incident Nabbed

Bacacay: Police arrested a 71-year-old suspect in a shooting incident in Bacacay, Albay that injured two female victims on Sunday. In a report, PRO-5 acting Regional Director Brig. Gen. Erosito Miranda identified the suspect as alias “Pilay”, a resident of Bacacay, who was arrested without resistance in a mountainous area of Barangay Pigcobohan. Meralco Reduces Power Rates by PHP0.3557/kWh in December

Manila: Lower transmission rates and generation charges have enabled the Manila Electric Company (Meralco) to implement a PHP0.3557 per kilowatt hour (kWh) reduction in power rates for December. In a briefing held on Tuesday, Meralco Vice President and Head of Corporate Communications Joe Zaldarriaga explained that transmission charges contributed most to the rate reduction at PHP0.1462/kWh.
